GNAP is the solo project from a Belgian songwriter and guitarist, Vincent de Puydt.

His songs are intimate extracts of momentary states of mind / Created by mixing electronic and acoustic instruments / Resulting in mainly dark and introvert atmospheres /

It is more and more difficult for artists to put themselves into shelves or categories, since after all, music is music, but we could describe his music as a sort of indé progressive industrial folk rock…

Inspired by artists such as Bon Iver, EELS, Sharko, NIN, Radio Head, Fink, the Cure, Interpol, Editors, DEUS, BRUT, Pink Floyd, Elliott Smith, and many more… Vincent grew up in Europe / Living in Belgium, France, Germany and Italy. He studied music as well as architecture.

Vincent is also in love with beer and Gin.

For the past few years the birth of a multitude of micro breweries have given him some work in order to stay in tune with their new products. There are no such things as spending an evening with friends, listening to good music and tasting some new tastes.

The ups and downs of life are parts of his inspiration.

what's coming next

GNAP is not only a project focused on music /

He is an architect but he also likes spending time on drawings and illustrations.

Those passions lead him to the creation of original extras, exclusive contents and collector’s items (Mugs, cassettes, T-shirts, etc…)

In the next future, his main goal is to develop a live show and to organise some gigs around Europe.

And this is the beginning of a new story.
